Shandong Nstmi New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nstmi New Materials) is committed to being a high-quality service provider in the transdermal drug delivery industry. Its main products, styrene isoprene styrene block copolymer (SIS) and drug auxiliary methyl acrylate/2-ethylhexyl acrylate copolymer emulsion, have completed the CDE filing with the China Food and Drug Administration. It is the only production-oriented enterprise in China that replaces the original research import filing. The development and industrialization project of hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive based medical materials launched by the company in 2024 has been selected as a major scientific and technological innovation project in Shandong Province.

CORE COMPETITIVENESS

Nstmi New Materials has established an expert workstation for topical preparations and a pilot scale conversion base for topical patches in Qingdao, involving the R&D and application of a full range of products including hot-melt adhesive patches, gel pastes and rubber pastes. The expert workstation is led by Mr. Liang Bingwen, a leading figure in the industry and the President of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies' Percutaneous Medication Professional Committee. The team consists of Dr. Liu Zixiu, Secretary General, Professor Sun Chunmeng from China Medical University, Professor Niu Haitao from Qingdao University, Vice Dean Ma Yuning from Shandong University of Chinese Medicine, Chief Physician Li Jingwei from Shandong University of Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, Dean Shi Bin from Shandong First Pharmaceutical University's Waist Neck and Shoulder Hospital, and Director Liu Shanxin from Shandong Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With the joint efforts of industry, academia, and research, the team aims to enhance core and key technology research capabilities.
